Our workshop is about an hour west of Turin, on the edge of the world famous Piedmont region of northern Italy, famous for some of the best food in the world. Turin itself is the home of Fiat, a city of boulevards, built for the motor business. It’s an hour from our workshop in the alpine village of Montgenevre.

In 1961, Torino Tubing Technology was set up by an ex-Ambrosio employee, Mario Dedioniggi.

Over the next half century Torino Tubing Technology engineering expertise had found a home in competitive cycling, and champions such as Merckx, Saronni, Moser, and Gimondi had all lent their own names to the bend of a 3T bar. Fabian Cancellera won Olympic Gold, on a 3T bar.

3T (as it’s now known) is independent once again, and still in the bar business, still designing a range of race wining finishing kit, forks, and wheels from their design and marketing base in Northern Italy.

Their range of carbon bars, stems and seat posts work beautifully with our steel race frame. As a company, they get what we’re trying to do, and they’re nearly as stoked on custom steel as we are, and perhaps most importantly, they’re just down the road.
